What is Full Throttle Singles Events?

Full Throttle Singles Events hosts high-energy, in-person social experiences for singles in San Diego County. Our events are designed to help people meet naturally through games, group activities, and structured icebreakers—without dating apps or awkward pressure.


Is this a dating event?

Yes and no. Our events are for singles, and romantic connections absolutely happen. However, we focus on natural social interaction, not speed dating or forced matchmaking. Many attendees also make new friends and expand their social circles.


What happens at an event?

How many people attend each event?

Most events host approximately 40–80 singles, creating an energetic atmosphere without feeling overcrowded. This size allows you to meet a variety of people while still having meaningful conversations.


What age range are these events for?

Age ranges vary by event and are always listed in the event description. Most events are geared toward adults in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, as well as 65+, with occasional themed nights.


Do I have to be outgoing to attend?

Not at all. Many attendees describe themselves as shy or introverted. Our structured activities and group rotations are specifically designed to make meeting people easier—no cold approaches required.


What should I wear?

Dress casual-comfortable. Most people come in nice casual attire—something you’d wear to a relaxed social gathering or casual night out. No formal wear required.


Are drinks or food provided?

Events include light snacks and beverages, which will be clearly noted on the event page. Alcohol is not required to participate, and many events are fully sober-friendly.


Is this inclusive?

Absolutely. We welcome singles of all backgrounds, orientations, and identities. Inclusivity and respect are core values of Full Throttle Singles Events.


How is this different from dating apps?

You meet real people, in person, and decide for yourself who you connect with.


Should I come alone? Can I bring a friend?

Yes you should come! Our events are great for individuals attending solo, and those who want to come with a friend. You will never feel left out or awkward for coming alone. If bringing that friend makes you feel more comfortable sign them up too!


What if I don’t meet “the one”?

That’s okay. Many people leave having made new friends, connections, or simply having had a fun night out. The goal is meaningful interaction—not pressure. We encourage guests to leave a contact card so other guests can reach out. Just because it didn't happen right away, doesn't mean it wont happen. 


How much do events cost?

Pricing varies by event and is listed on each event page. Generally speaking most events are only $20-$40. Most events are priced to remain affordable while ensuring a quality experience.


Do I need to register in advance?

Yes. All events require advance registration. Event planning is required on our part to keep events balanced and enjoyable.


What is your refund policy?

Refunds are currently not available. 


Are there rules or a code of conduct?

Yes. We expect respectful, appropriate behavior at all events. Anyone acting disrespectfully or making others uncomfortable may be asked to leave without a refund. All Laws are expected to be followed. 


How often do you host events?

We are just getting started, we plan to start off with events every couple months, Eventually we plan to host events multiple times per week across San Diego County, with new themes and formats added regularly.
